Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the team at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. This full-time hourly position offers a salary range of $13-$17 depending on experience, along with exceptional benefits. Located in Las Cruces, NM, you will be working out of our Hotel Encanto.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the Facilities Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests, team members, and partners.
• Respond to work orders and conduct routine facilities maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety and functionality.
• Handle general maintenance tasks like basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and landscaping.
• Repair and maintain various structures and systems within the facility.
• Ensure all work complies with safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Possible maintenance tasks for pools, spas, and hot tubs.
• Other duties as assigned as needed at any property within the portfolio.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of facilities maintenance or construction experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Physical ability to handle various tasks including walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
• Flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain company group insurance.
