Job Description

Join U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC as a Manufacturing Engineer Lead. In this role, you will oversee projects, manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met. You will be responsible for budget controls, tooling design, and implementation to enhance production output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects and provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineers to achieve safety, quality, and cost goals.
  • Promote teamwork, respect, and accountability among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and improve processes as needed.
  • Drive on-time delivery for internal and external customers.
  • Implement lean manufacturing concepts and lead team initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Design tools and dies using Solid Edge CAD software and optimize tooling designs.
  • Evaluate existing tools for enhancements and design low-cost automation systems.
  • Conduct theoretical analysis of manufacturing processes and develop project plans for improvements.
  • Write equipment specifications, perform installation and commissioning, and participate in audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, respond to customer inquiries, and apply statistical methods for future manufacturing needs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Eight plus years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, GD&T, and engineering principles.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
