Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc., a leading supplier of iron castings in North America, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tell City, IN. This role is crucial for maintaining our state-of-the-art facility, performing breakdown responses, and preventative maintenance tasks. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety guidelines.
- Participate in the 6-S Program for housekeeping.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions.
- Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform maintenance equipment repairs and tasks including fabrication, machine repair, and basic construction work.
Qualifications
- Educational background in Maintenance or related field.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, blueprint reading, and machine repair.
Education/Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
