Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc. is North America’s leading supplier of iron castings and is currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance technician for their facility in Tell City, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs to ensure the efficient operation of the facility. Responsibilities
- Successfully complete safety training and adhere to safety guidelines and policies.
- Participate in WF’s 6-S Program for housekeeping.
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs).
- Conduct necessary adjustments to machinery for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, blueprint reading, and machine repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift and adapt to a flexible schedule.
