Job Description
Waupaca Foundry, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance professional to join our team in Tell City, IN. As part of North America's leading supplier of iron castings, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a state-of-the-art facility through breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety guidelines
- Participate in WF's 6-S program for housekeeping
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)
- Perform machinery adjustments for optimal operations
- Conduct fabrication, machine repair, and other assigned duties
Requirements
- Educational background in Maintenance or equivalent experience
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Proficiency in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, and more
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
