Job Description

Shearer's is seeking a Night Shift People Leader for our food manufacturing facility in Waterford Township, PA. This role involves leading employees in a manufacturing environment, ensuring all safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives are met through individual and team contributions. The People Leader provides clear direction, leadership, and support to direct reports, promoting empowerment, teamwork, coaching, and on-the-job assignments as the organization transforms into a Continuous Improvement and Lean environment.

Responsibilities

• Directing employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product
• Ensuring a safe workplace by enforcing safety and sanitation rules and principles
• Compliance with all Federal, State and Company regulatory requirements
• Maintaining positive employee relations and participating in the evaluation and training of hourly personnel
• Tracking employees' work performance and attendance, utilizing metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes
• Collaborating with supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities
• Planning and establishing work schedules

Requirements

• 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in a production, operations management, or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry
• Bilingual - Spanish and English a plus
