Job Description
MacLean-Fogg, a leading manufacturer of fastener solutions, engineered solutions, plastics solutions, and additive solutions for various industries, is seeking an Operator 1 for Tapping Deflection in the Second Shift. In this role, you will be responsible for operating mechanical equipment, ensuring product quality, completing necessary documents, adhering to safety and quality standards, and maintaining a clean work area.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment
- Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
- Perform work under direct supervision
- Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter
- 0 to 2 years of experience
Competencies/Skills
- Ability to interpret work instructions
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
