Pharmacist

Job Description

Join our team at SCA Pharmaceuticals, LLC as a dedicated Pharmacist. SCA Pharma is an FDA 503B outsourcing facility providing customized medications for hospitals and healthcare facilities across the United States. As a Pharmacist, you will oversee daily compounding activities in the cleanroom, supervise compounding technicians, and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and integrity in medication production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compounding, labeling, and daily pharmacy operations.
• Complete accurate logs of controlled substances and compounding records.
• Perform pre-and-post compounding operational checks.
• Assist in deviation investigations and batch review.
• Communicate effectively with the Pharmacy lead and quality unit.
• Ensure compounding is in accordance with SOPs and batch record directions.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pharmacist License in home state (AR and CT).
• 2+ years of sterile compounding experience preferred.
• 2+ years of managing/work with technicians.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile PPE.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40+ pounds.
