Job Description
Discover Financial Services is seeking a Principal Application Architect specialized in Finacle to lead technology strategy and application architecture design. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with product owners to align product vision with technology strategy, oversee the design process, and coach other architects on product quality strategy. Your deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks will drive innovation and evolution in the application ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Partnership with product owners for product vision alignment.
- Independent oversight of the application design process.
- Coaching on product quality strategy and nonfunctional requirements.
- Deep understanding and training on business processes and technology solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, or Technical Architecture.
- Internal proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Finacle, AWS, Kubernetes, or Openshift is a plus.

Compensation
Base pay ranges from $148,000 to $204,000 annually, with additional incentives based on factors like experience and skills.
