Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoons. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team dedicated to advancing medicine and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following protocol and patient identification verification.
- Acquire and document accurate patient histories in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow maintenance protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and peers.
- Adhere to radiation protection principles and regulations.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Participate in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- Current BLS certification required.
