Job Description
We are hiring a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology. If you are dedicated to patient care, have excellent clinical skills, and are committed to following radiation protection protocols, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies for malfunctions.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training students and new hires.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas including fluoroscopic and general diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification required upon hire.
- CRT-BLS (BLS) - AHA certification required upon hire.
