Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to radiation protection principles and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document them in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for radiographic and related patient care procedures.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT Certification upon hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Certification upon hire.
- Demonstrated competency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
