Job Description
We are excited to offer a Full-time Radiology Technologist position at Corewell Health with increased pay rates and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
