Job Description

Medicus, through its affiliate Optimum Permanent Placement Services, is seeking a dedicated Recruiting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work on both sides of our business, partnering with our clients to identify the best-fit medical professionals for their full-time positions, and aligning medical professionals with opportunities they are most qualified for.

The opportunity includes working with medical professionals to develop long-term relationships and match their skill set with full-time opportunities. You will also partner with our clients to fulfill their permanent staffing needs across multiple medical specialty areas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full recruitment cycle, including recruiting and building relationships with qualified medical providers nationwide, and identifying and developing new business opportunities within hospitals.
  • Qualify, present, and recommend candidates that meet the needs of our clients, evaluating candidate fit per the requirements of the client.
  • Coach candidates through various stages of the interview process, managing client expectations throughout the recruitment placement process.
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to fill full-time openings, such as cold calling, networking, posting jobs on online job boards, and targeted searches and sourcing.
  • Build ongoing relationships with clients through travel, video calls, and phone communication.
  • Negotiate contractual terms with clients and join professional networking organizations, attend industry trade shows and conferences to develop candidate and client pipelines.
  • Analyze and gain knowledge of the market through competitor analysis, permanent placement market trends, market rates, staffing needs, and client and provider contract expectations.
  • Achieve key metrics/KPIs to support the revenue goals of Optimum.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of recruiting or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and pivot quickly into different recruiting projects.
  • Ability to communicate and establish rapport with high-level decision-makers at hospitals and connect with medical providers via various communication channels.
  • Desire to increase earnings based on performance.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
