Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join Gentiva Hospice, a leading provider of hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and support to patients and their families. Reporting to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager Senior, you will manage patient care, serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, and the hospice team, evaluate patient needs, and maintain clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients and families.
• Manage an interdisciplinary group to enhance the quality of hospice care.
• Evaluate patient and family needs, and assist in developing and executing care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient clinical records and participate in quality assessment programs.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
• Compassionate, kind, and empathetic nature towards patients and families.
