Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team at Rivers Edge Hospital. We have part- and full-time positions available in our Med Surg Unit, all benefit eligible. Work .75 or .9 FTE (60 or 72 hours per two weeks) Day/Night rotating shifts, with 12-hour shifts, and the requirement of working every third weekend and every third holiday.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to all patients and coordinate the care as part of daily responsibility.
• Participate in unit management, staff orientation, and self-development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), ACLS or ability to complete ACLS within six months of hire, PALS or ability to complete PALS within six months of hire.
• Sincere interest in nursing with knowledge in general medical/surgical nursing and the ability to use the nursing process.
• Positive and cooperative interaction with co-workers, patients, and customers.
• One to two years experience as an RN, with a minimum of one year in a hospital setting. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
