Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Gentiva Hospice, a leading provider of hospice, palliative, home health, and personal home care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality patient care, serving as a primary point of contact between physicians, patients, and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and support their families.
- Manage an interdisciplinary team to enhance the quality of hospice care.
- Evaluate patient and family needs and contribute to the development and execution of care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient clinical records.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement programs.
Requirements
- Compassionate, kind, and empathetic towards patients and their families.
- Current RN license or ability to obtain one in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology.
