Job Description
Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown unit. This role involves providing direct clinical patient care, assuming responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients, and supervising staff to ensure appropriate care is provided. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree).
Certifications
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice or policy; CPR.
