Job Description
The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team of engineers and architects working on cloud environments to support product software development across the F/A-18 & EA-18G Mission Systems Environment. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud environments to support product software development.
- Responsible for time-phased Roadmap Development for F18 Mission System’s transition to the cloud.
- Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity colleagues to ensure cost-effective, timely, and secure deployment of the environment and its tools.
- Interfacing with development groups across the program in the planning and deployment of software factories and other toolchains and components.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field.
- Experience designing cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with network layer cloud technologies and writing infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- 3+ years’ experience working with and supporting Linux systems.
- Strong programming skills in at least one high-level language such as Java, Python, Go, or C++.
