Service Technician

As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment performance and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and work safely.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical deficiencies on heavy equipment.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and modification of parts.
• Repair and replace components of various systems.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Volvo and paving equipment is a plus.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required; technical school graduate preferred.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.

Communication Skills

• Ability to document repairs and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.

Physical Demands

This position involves lifting, carrying, and operating equipment. Applicants must be able to meet the physical demands of the job and work in various weather conditions.

Position Type

Full-time, non-exempt position with variable work hours. Overtime may be required.
