Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, supporting physicians and delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamic monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, and patient/family education.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings and calculations.
- Ensure compliance with Corewell Health standards and radiation safety protocols.
- Participate in specialized procedures as required (IR, Cath Lab, EP Lab).
Requirements
- Educational background in Radiography or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR settings.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT registration.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
