Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures before, during, and after the interventions. Your duties will include assisting physicians, monitoring patients, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Assist physicians with procedures and maintain patient safety.
- Ensure quality patient-centered care and effective communication with the medical team.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiography, Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
- Current certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT status as required.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
