Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, working closely with physicians to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include IV starts, patient preparation, hemodynamics monitoring, equipment operation, documentation, and patient education. Additionally, you will ensure radiation safety compliance and participate in on-call schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intra-procedural technical support and patient care.
- Perform hemodynamic recordings and communicate effectively with team members.
- Maintain equipment quality and radiation safety standards.
- Participate in 3D imaging, vascular, and cerebral cases as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR procedures.
- Active BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications.
- Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
