Job Description:
We are seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. The Special Procedure Tech will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and ensuring quality patient-centered care throughout the process. This role involves monitoring patients, performing technical tasks, recording data, and maintaining radiation safety standards.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
Standard Qualifications:
- Education/Training: Completion of accredited programs in relevant fields.
- Work Experience: Clinical experience and specific procedural experience required.
- Certification, Licensure, Registration: Relevant certifications required.
