General Summary:
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to provide direct care for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, and educating patients and families.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor and support patients during procedures.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic recordings and calculations.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and equipment checks.
- Participate in 3D imaging, vascular, and cerebral cases as required.
Standard Qualifications:
- Completion of accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Registered RCES/RCIS/RT, IABP certification.
