Supervisor

Job Description

Shearer's is seeking a dedicated Supervisor to lead employees in a manufacturing environment at Waterford Township, PA, on the night shift (7PM - 7AM). As a People Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, customer service, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives through both individual and team efforts. You will provide clear direction, leadership, and support to direct reports, emphasizing empowerment, teamwork, and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and plant floor activities to maintain high product quality.
• Enforce safety and sanitation rules to support a safe workplace.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain positive employee relations through evaluation and training.
• Utilize metrics to evaluate and improve work processes.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams.
• Establish work schedules.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in a production or operations management role.
• Experience in the food processing industry is preferred.
• Bilingual - Spanish and English (a plus).
