Used Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for hard-working Service Technicians to join our team at Rudd Equipment Company. Service Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various components of heavy equipment both in the shop and the field, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and work safely at all times.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on heavy equipment.
• Perform repairs on mobile equipment in field environments.
• Weld, fabricate, and modify parts as necessary.
• Repair and replace components of various systems such as hydraulic, electrical, and drive trains.
• Work efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Travel and work remotely as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read technical information and schematics.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Experience with Volvo and paving equipment beneficial.
