Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Child Behavior Specialist to join our team at Positive Leaps, within Assure Health LLC. The ideal candidate will create a safe and therapeutic environment for children, following our mission and philosophy. Experience with children and adolescents is advantageous, and training will be provided.
Our private practice emphasizes autonomy and community, with opportunities for training at the Mindfully Academy in various specializations like DBT, EMDR, SUD, and more.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, day shifts
- Location: West Chester, OH
- Sign-on Bonus: $250 after 90 days, $500 at 1 year anniversary, total $750

Responsibilities
- Create a safe learning environment for children.
- Interact professionally with children, families, and staff.
- Implement treatment goals and objectives.
- Maintain documentation and communicate progress.
- Adhere to Ohio laws and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
- Social Worker License in Ohio.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with children of all ages.
- CPR/First Aid Certification, pass background check, and flu vaccination.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an active environment.
Exposures and Risks
- Potential exposure to body fluids and loud noises.
- Direct work with physically aggressive children.
