Critical Infrastructure Manager I

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Critical Infrastructure Manager I to oversee all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in our data center(s), ensuring a mission-critical uptime of 99.999% or higher. As the CIM I, you will play a vital role in managing vendor relationships, implementing company policies, and driving operational excellence initiatives. This position involves 24x7 on-call responsibilities and demands strong technical expertise to maintain optimal facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of data center operations and maintenance for continuous uptime and adherence to SLAs.
• Collaborate on cross-market efforts to enhance Regional Operations.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for efficient facility management.
• Create and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and interpret technical documentation for equipment maintenance and project planning.
• Lead disaster recovery exercises and operational improvement initiatives.
• Oversee electrical installations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide training and guidance to operations staff on data center procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks and monitoring to uphold facility standards.
• Conduct facility tours for customers and prospects while ensuring equipment alerting configurations.
• Generate comprehensive reports on facility performance and customer utilization.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent experience.
• Management and technical training with 2+ years of critical infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform moderate to advanced keyboard tasks.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for 50% of the time, and travel occasionally.
