Full-Time Store Manager Trainee

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training to prepare for the responsibilities of running a store effectively. You will supervise daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staffing needs, create operational plans, and develop your team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team performance to deliver top-notch customer service.
• Communicate and embody company values to foster teamwork among employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness standards.
• Participate in hiring, scheduling, and training activities.
• Establish job expectations, performance goals, and conduct evaluations.
• Manage inventory, monitor expenses, and achieve budget targets.
• Ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated customer service and leadership skills.
• Understanding of company policies and ability to apply them.
• Experience in retail, with management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with cash register operations and equipment handling.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
• Previous management experience is a plus.

Travel

Full-Time Store Manager Trainees may need to travel to multiple locations for training purposes.
