Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to devise fundraising strategies, cultivate relationships with funders, and contribute to organization-wide fundraising goals. Responsibilities

  • Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to inform fundraising strategy.
  • Collaborate with program staff to develop case statements for funders.
  • Build customized fundraising strategies for new and renewable funders.
  • Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders.
  • Organize meetings and events with prospects and funders.
  • Write and submit proposals, reports, and stewardship documents.
  • Create customized funder proposals and impact reports.
  • Devise unique recognition opportunities for funders.
  • Maintain up-to-date funder records in Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of corporate and foundation fundraising experience.
  • Track record in securing 6-figure gifts.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in English grammar and punctuation.
  • Basic design skills for funder-facing collateral.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
