Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts following guidelines.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Prior retail experience (preferred).
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
