Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of the store, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and clean, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure its accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for security and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply for this role at ALDI.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
