Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate our core values and competencies in all aspects of the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate efficiently with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory procedures and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company protocols.
- Follow all company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
- Meet any state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
