Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Conduct inventory counts, monitor accuracy, and report issues
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently
- Safely operate equipment
- Interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Work independently and within a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks
- Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience
