Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock merchandise, and maintain displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Conduct inventory counts, monitor accuracy, and report issues
  • Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and security measures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Operate a cash register efficiently
  • Safely operate equipment
  • Interpret and apply company policies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work independently and within a team
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and handle multiple tasks
  • Meet requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience
