Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Your role will involve collaborating with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Assist customers during their shopping experience and provide exceptional service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Report feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while safeguarding data security and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
