Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure proper product displays
- Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels
- Follow cash handling procedures and uphold company policies
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
