Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the efficient operation of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers and communicating effectively with team members.
- Give feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
- Follow company policies, maintain document security, and perform additional assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in efficient cash register operation and equipment handling.
- Capable of meeting cleanliness standards and following company procedures.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A blend of education and experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge.
