Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) on a consistent basis.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register with accuracy.
- Safely handle equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Maintain store cleanliness as per company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
- Meet all requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
