Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by performing a variety of tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, cleaning, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and customer issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
- Perform physical tasks such as stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and general cleaning
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- High School Diploma preferred, retail experience is a plus
