Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to create a welcoming shopping environment for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize product displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate feedback to management.
- Participate in inventory management activities and uphold cash-handling policies.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
