Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize stock
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist in inventory counts and monitoring for accuracy
- Handle cash transactions following company policies
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to deliver prompt, courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment
- Capable of meeting state and local requirements for retail tasks
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a retail environment is advantageous
