Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide the best shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with the team.
- Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Comply with company policies while safeguarding documents and data.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
- Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and perform various physical tasks around the store.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk during shifts.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register, store equipment, and performing cleaning tasks.
- Ability to follow company policies, communicate effectively, and work both independently and in a team setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
