Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an excellent customer shopping experience. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold ALDI's values.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) required for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in operating a cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Capable of operating equipment and performing general cleaning duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
