Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
- Follow company policies to ensure document security and confidentiality
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and handle equipment safely
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
