Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, your primary responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure well-organized merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and other operational aspects
• Participate in store inventory counts as per guidelines
• Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and maintain document security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
• Competent in using various equipment for store operations
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a professional manner
• Meet state and local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is an advantage
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
