Job Description
Join our team at ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate in an entry-level role. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's operations, from stocking products and cashiering to providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of following cleaning protocols and company guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in multitasking
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling (if applicable)
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
