Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service, merchandising products, and maintaining a clean store environment. This position offers 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient cash register operation
• Capable of using store equipment safely and effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
