Job Description
As a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized and the customers receive exceptional service. From merchandising to cashiering, you will work collaboratively with the team to provide a great shopping experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Assist customers to enhance their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with the team and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
Physical Demands
Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, standing, bending, and other store-related activities
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service
- Operate a cash register and perform cleaning duties
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Ability to handle and sell alcoholic beverages based on local regulations
