Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, Aldi Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills outlined for the role.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, participate in store inventory counts, and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to cash policies, company procedures, and ensure security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and provide courteous customer service.
- Capable of working with equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
